How to find a percent

 *Percent= out of 100.

To find a percent, you must write the percent as:

a       p 

b = 100     then solve.

To find it if it is written as a decimal, you must write it as:

Example:  .05=   5     = 5%

                         100

Or you can just take a shortcut. An easy way to find percents from decimals is to move the decimal place over to the right two spaces. you can also find decimals FROM percents this way, only for that you move the decimal two places to the left. Easy as pie, right?
